Ham & Cheese Toast




(A) Ingredients:-
500g   bread flour
6g       instant yeast
5g       salt
30g     sugar
20g     milk powder
320g   water

(B)  50g     butter

(C) Side Ingredients:-
6 slices     ham
12 silces   cheese
1/4 tsp      oregano
100g         cheese flakes

Method:-
1.  Mix all the (A) ingredients until bread dough is formed.  Add in butter and continue to blend until bread dough is smooth and springy.

2.  Roll completed bread dough into balls and cover with cloth.  Allow to leave for 40 to 50 mins until bread dough rises to twice its size.    Cut into 2 potions.  Roll into balls and proof for 15 mins.

3.  Roll out bread dough to long shape.  Pit in ham slices, cheese slices and oregano.  Roll into olive shape and place in long-shaped tin.

4.  Allow dough to leave for 40 to 50 mins until bread rises to the same height as long-shaped tin.  Brush egg wash on bread and place cheese flakes on it.  Place in pre-heated oven and bake at 200 c for 30 to 35 mins.

5.  Remove bread from tin and allow it to cool on rack.  Cut into slices.
