Jap Chae (Korean Glass Noodles)

Jap Chae is a very common Korean side dish.  Every time when you watch Korea series, the "Ahjummas" always cook this dish.  Korean glass noodle is also called 'Dang -myeon" and It is made from sweet potatoes starch and is in grey colour. They are also gluten free and we love that springy and light texture.

Gyu-kaku Japanese Charcoal BBQ at Chijmes

Birthday dinner at Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ.  This place was suggested by my hubby. It was an awesome dinner. Great atmosphere and excellent service with attentive staff.  The meats were all excellent and didn't need any dipping sauce and of course it's a pricey meal too.

Sesame Tapioca Bread Mix (Mochi Bread)

I bought it at Parkway Parade, one of the Korea Mart.  Just simply add 3 ingredients which are 1 egg,  90ml of milk and 20g of butter. 

The bread is so delicious. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.

Black Glutinous Rice Dessert

This is our all time farvourite. Only three ingredients used, black glutinous rice, water and sugar. When served, it is splashed with fresh coconut milk.

Pumpkin Odeh Odeh

A few months ago, we had a dept Team Building in Cookyn Inc at Rangoon Road.  Odeh Odeh was one of the many dishes that we made.  The original recipe used sweet potatoes but today I replace it with pumpkin.
