Chicken Mushroom Bun

First time trying this flavor and the end product turned out really yummy.



Ingredients:-
450g bread flour
50g top flour
10g milk powder
80g sugar
8g yeast
7g salt
1 egg
80g yakult
180g cold water
60g butter

Filling:-
500g chicken breast, diced
8 button mushroom, sliced
1 onion, diced
Dark soy sauce
Sesame oil
Salt
Pepper
Water
Corn Flour

Method:-
1) Sock 8 pcs of dumpling (or pandan) leaves in water and wash clean. Dry it with towel. Cut into half and make a ring. Ready to use.
2) Heat up 2 Tbsp oil in frying pan. Fry onions & mushrooms till fragrant. Add in chicken breast meat & seasoning.
3) Mix all the ingredients except butter. 4) Mix till a dough is formed, add in butter continue to mix till you get smooth and elastic dough.
5) Let it prove for an hour or till double the size.
6) Divide the dough into 50g each and shape it. Prove for another 10 mins.
7) Flatten dough and place the filling in the center and roll it into a small ball. Place in the center of the ring.
8) Let it prove for 50 mins or double the size.
9) Egg wash and bake at 160C for 15 - 18 mins.
10) Grease with butter when remove from oven.
